Hats off to the organizers of Two Wheel Sunday what an amazing, fun successful event that Calgary Motorcycle enthusiasts supported by the thousands!

Every type of Motorcycle was there

Two Wheel Sunday was not about any one kind of motorcycle, rider, group, the Sunday June 1st event was about bringing motorcycle enthusiasts together under one roof, per say, join the riding communities, making new friends and educating about the local charities Calgary has to offer.
There was every price point of motorcycles riding to the event, from high end custom bikes to the zippy scooters, each proudly rode up and down the streets looking for a parking spot.

What the Organizers had to say

We caught up with Bobby Baum, one of the organizers, who chatted with us about the days event, the success and the future of Two Wheel Sunday.

…it is a pretty steady pace, I’d say we are way north of 1000 bikes this early in the day
…just come meet people, you know a meet and greet
…this is a test event right, basically it is going very well and so I’m sure the community will ask that we do it again for next year. It’s a matter of where do you want to hold it, how do you want to hold it
…because each group in here is an equal partner, we are giving everyone the opportunity to vote to say where they want to have it or how they want to have it
…once this years event is done, after today we will put it forward to someone else from another group can hold the reigns

Two Wheel Sunday Show & Shine

4 Show & Shine categories were hosted by the Victory Riders club, it was a huge success as well as there were many bikes for each category.

  1. Custom
  2. Vintage
  3. Cruiser
  4. Sport Bike

Proceeds donated to Veterans Food Bank

Hots Dogs were being grilled all day, the CAV, Canadian Army Veterans, were accepting donations for a hot dog and a drink, you could also drop off non-perishable food. The proceeds raised on Two Wheel Sunday from hotdogs and vendor booths were all donated to the Veterans Food Bank and the Poppy Seed Fund. We were told over $3000 was raised for these well deserved organizations.
