Charities and Bikers go hand in hand, the motorcycle community is very generous when it comes to fundraising for good causes. The Sturgis Charity Rides are no different, if you get the chance to take part in one or all of them you won’t be disappointed by the scenic ride, the fellow riders and great charity you are riding for.
The Legends Ride
What a great way to kick start the Sturgis Rally by joining the The Legends Ride, put on by the Buffalo Chip! You will have an escorted, scenic ride alongside hundreds of fellow Legends Riders through the beautiful Black Hills, ending up at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip for a special riders-only reception with complimentary food, drinks and special live memorabilia auction.
The Legends Ride raises significant funds for local charities including the Black Hills Special Olympics and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.

The Biker Belles Ride
Every year the Biker Belles ride grows, bringing more and more women riders together to share their stories, their lives and a whole bunch of laughs. The Buffalo Chip puts on this ride presented by Harley Davidson and have a well known female motorcycle icon as their guest speaker.
The ride begins at The Lodge in Deadwood and takes the riders through the beautiful Black Hills ending back at the Legendary Buffalo Chip for a very cool riders-only reception with complimentary food, drinks, live entertainment and a live auction.
Riders are asked to make a contribution to join the ride and festivities, 100% of which will directly benefit two South Dakota charities that benefit women-related causes, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame and Helping with Horsepower. Helping with Horsepower is a program that uses contributions to help abused and at-risk young women and girls.

The Mayor’s Ride
You and your buddies can ride with the mayor of Sturgis, state and local legislators, celebrities, legends and motorcycle enthusiasts all through out the Black Hills bright and early on the 1st day of the rally. After the ride you come back and have lunch with the Mayor and friends, you also receive a one-of-a-kind ride gift pack.
The Mayor’s Ride is a fund-raiser for the Sturgis Volunteer Fire Department.

The Pappy Hoel Ride
Back in 1938 Pappy Hoel began what is now known as the World’s Largest Motorcycle Rally, The Full Throttle Saloon hosts this ride. You will leave Full Throttle Saloon and ride the beautiful Black Hills with celebrities like Michael Ballard, owner of Full Throttle Saloon and many more.
Pappy, one of the founders of the Jackpine Gypsies, was the first to suggest short track racing that would be given his name and was credited for starting the “Sturgis Motorcycle Rally” that would encompass the entire Black Hills of South Dakota.

BozBros Benefit Ride
2014 is the First BozBros Benefit Ride, join AMA National Champions and former World Superbike competitors Ben and Eric Bostrom as they take you on the twist-ies of the Black Hills on your sports bike! You will come back to the World Famous Knuckle Saloon for free burgers and beer and party with the BozBros and others in a private section.
Proceeds benefit the Sturgis Rally Charities Foundation.

Freedom Celebration Ride New in 2014
The special American Freedom Celebration which has been going strong for 23 years and along with The Buffalo Chip it has been decided to add a special charity ride, to this celebration.
This ride will leave from Spearfish and end at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, the funds raised will go towards organizations benefiting veterans and their families.

Sturgis Charity Rides
What a great way to meet other riders, celebrities, see the Black hills and support charities while enjoying a party at the end of the ride. You will pay $45 up to $155 to join the rides, where the funds are going to Sturgis and area charities.
