It’s that time of year again, the Calgary & Edmonton 2016 Motorcycle Shows are here and what better way to help you get through the winter blahs than hangout at the motorcycle shows all weekend. The dates for Calgary show are Jan 8-10 at the BMO Centre while Edmonton is the next weekend Jan 15-17 at the Expo Centre Northlands. We will be at both shows all weekend long and look forward to seeing as many of you as we can!!

Calgary & Edmonton 2016 Motorcycle Shows

This will be the first opportunity for Southern Albertans to check out what’s new in motorcycles, side-by-sides, ATVs and scooters for 2016. All the major manufacturers will be represented on the Show floor.

“What better way to wet the appetites of bike enthusiasts than filling three halls of the BMO Centre with the very latest and greatest in two, three and four wheels available on the market”, says Show Manager Laurie Paetz, “with the recent changes in the economic climate in Alberta, we are optimistic that there will be an even greater interest in bikes, as they are an extremely affordable mode of transportation.”

In addition to the impressive showcase of new model motorcycles, there is a wide variety of aftermarket accessories, apparel, touring destinations, as well as clubs and associations.

Welcome Torch Motorcycles

New to the Motorcycle Show – Calgary this year is Torch Motorcycles a local group of female moto-enthusiasts focused on collecting real data to design and build new café racer bikes, and apparel for women, while promoting safety and building community. The Torch Motorcycle Revv-olution exhibit will encompass safety, design, technology, fashion, and an opportunity to watch some of the women work on their own custom designed bikes.

Stunt Bikes are back

“The MX Freestyle Show has always been a crowd favorite, and this year we are turning it up a notch by adding a second ramp and a sled to the action” says Show Manager, Laurie Paetz, “Don’t miss all the edge of your seat action at the Motor Madness and Mayhem Show in the Corral, it is great entertainment for the whole family.”
Lead by Keith Sayers, the team of Freestylers that will be performing at the Motor Madness and Mayhem Show is impressive including Canadians Craig Latimer and Billy Kohut as well as Nick Dunne, and Heath Frisby. These talented riders will thrill audiences with tricks like the Kiss of Death, Tsunami and Captain Morgan, flying over 10 meters in the air. The smell of burning rubber will waft through the air as Craig treats the audience to street stunts including burnouts and wheelies. Check the website for Show times.
